Bio
The Calimocho Club are as raw and low-rent as the drink that inspired their name.
Their debut EP 'Whoa Whoa, Hey Hey' is 13 minutes and 5 tracks of trash blues soul, recorded amidst a haze of rum, cigarettes and a desire to just get the tracks down.
The EP's roots are raw blues, pared down to the crucial bones with the 'hit 'em and hook 'em' approach of punk.
They have shared stages with fellow trash blues-smiths The Jim Jones Revue, Bob Log III, Dave Arcari and Band of Skulls, to name a few.
They have also played successful shows in Spain & the Netherlands.
The Calimocho Club have also recently signed a publishing deal with MassiveTalent (a subdivision of Massive Music) who specialise in syncs for the advertising industry, with offices in Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, London and Shanghai.
Gary Calimocho is endorsed by Burns Guitars London.
Recorded or live, the vein is the same.
