The Candor Campaign is the solo project of singer/songwriter Trinity Aikens. Trinity began playing music seriously early in high school. He started off cutting his teeth at different bars and venues around the San Antonio, TX area. His set list then consisted mainly of covers from various genres spanning punk and alternative to classic country and pop. But it was when he started writing his own songs that he found his true passion as well as an affinity for connecting with people while expressing himself.
Despite not being able to read music and claiming that he barely knows the notes that he is playing half of the time, he began to take what he learned from the different genres he was used to playing and crafted a sound that is fresh but familiar.
Trinity began The Candor Campaign as a way to explore bigger musical projects. Though he began as a singer and guitarist, he soon took up piano and sampling as to not be limited by the sounds produced by any single instrument. He soon moved to Austin, TX in order to connect with larger audiences and resides there today.
