Bio
The Cardinal Sound, is a fun, upbeat and energetic Jamgrass/ Jam Rock band based in Americana music. Using both classic bluegrass themes of traveling outlaws, nature, and weather as well as exploratory jams of space, fantasy animals and more while we strive to take our fans on a musical journey with us. Our biggest inspirations vary from The Grateful Dead, Phish, and Pink Floyd to Trampled by Turtles, Greensky Bluegrass, The Beatles, and The Band.
Based out of the growing Des Moines, Iowa metro we’ve been making music together and building our fan base together for the last 5 years and are primed and ready to spread our wings and reach new festivals and venues in our flight path. We’ve played many stages varying from 80/35 Music Festival and Hinterland Music Festival’s local stage to joining many other successful touring and local acts and playing our own shows at venues around the state. We’re currently booking and would love to hear back from you.
