These 3 brothers are from small town Red Rock, Ontario. Their sound is of contemporary. blues/rock that will capture your rhythmic psyche. This is not your daddy's "baby's got the blues" jingle. The music is all their own. The music and lyrics are all composed by the band to create this amazing sound. Each of the members have been playing these instruments and others from tender ages. The boys were led from their father's record collection which included Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, The Beatles, Jonny Lee Hooker and The Allman Brothers. The Carruthers Brothers had the gracious opportunity to open for headliners such as Steppenwolf and David Wilcox. July of '06 saw the band performing at the Thunder Bay Blues Festival after placing first overall in a showcase held for local bands. They also have played for the past 3 years at the "Live from the Rock" music festival in Red Rock.
