The Chain

With songs that sound like instant classics and a beautiful blend of voices, The Chain are Ben Parker & Kate Aumonier.

Ben Parker, formerly of duo Ben & Jason, met singer Kate Aumonier six years ago. Both had just been released from major label deals and were introduced to each other by their publishers in the hope that they would write songs together for other artists. Kate had already been writing with producer/writer Ethan Johns (Ray Lamontagne, Ryan Adams) and other song masters such as Boo Hewerdine for her second album before she began writing with Ben. Their relationship blossomed and it wasn’t long before the two discovered that they were more excited about singing together and writing for their own project and The Chain started playing live together last year.

Since then, the reaction to their harmony-laden song-craft has been incredible. The pair have gone on to perform consistently jaw-dropping live shows across London with a full band. Now, Ben and Kate are incredibly excited about their involvement with MMC and believe this is a perfect step forward not just for their careers, but for the music industry as well.
