The Chambers Biography

Essex Based Rock n’ Rollers The Chambers started back in December 08’, and began gigging the following January. In 2009, The Chambers played a total of 73 gigs across London and the South East (Including support slots with ‘The Vortex’ (Bonehead, ex-guitarist of Oasis) ‘The Mighty Boosh’, ‘The Krak’ (ex-drummer of ‘Babyshambels’) and ‘Twisted Wheel’. They also performed 9 gigs spread across 2 UK tours around the north of England. They recorded 2 E.P’s, were featured in numerous local music magazines and newspapers, and have been interviewed and have performed live acoustic sets on local radio stations.

On the 11th of September 2009, they held an incredibly successful E.P launch at Monto Water Ratts in London, and grabbed the attention of ‘Discovering Arts Music Group’, who introduced them to acclaimed producer Pedro Ferreira (‘The Darkness’, ‘Permission to Land’). The Chambers were offered a contract from the label, but turned it down, choosing to continue to work with Pedro Ferreira who loved their hard rock, yet slightly commercial, quality, and fund their 3 track single themselves. Recording took 10 days, and was finished on the 27th of February 2010. They began sales of their 3 track single at their second sell out gig at Harlow Square on the 22nd of may.

They’ve been described as one of the best bands in Essex, with a following to match groups that have been going for 3 to 4 times as long. Their dedication to their song writing has paid off, with promoters around the country citing their views on the band.

On the Chambers first EP in March 2009 – “With this three track EP the Herts lads have really gone all out, it’s loud, it’s passionate and it certainly packs a punch" - Emily Sergeant, Music Zine.

“Amazing band, with top quality rock tunes to match!" - Dominic de la Rosa, Organiser of Rock in the Priory.

“Of all the bands I've had playing, The Chambers not only looked the part, but played a real energetic, frenetic and f**king damn good set of tunes" - Paul Barnes, The Alex, Hornsea, 'Stand and Deliver' UK Tour.

The Chambers have mass market appeal, with a song for every person’s taste, whether you like dancing or rocking, The Chambers will have you jumping.

With such a wide array of influences (The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Guns n’ Roses, Oasis, Kings of Leon) spanning five decades in fact, it’s easy to see why The Chambers’ songs are so catchy. Incredibly hooked guitar riffs, anthemic, stadium quality vocals, and a groove, danceable rhythm section is what drives The Chambers forward to their audience. They cannot be classified or pigeon holed - their sound is The Chambers.

The Chambers have a clear goal, to make the most influential album since Oasis’ ‘Definitely Maybe’. They want to tour the world, entertaining people across the globe, and their more than willing to work for it, as their first 14 months have proven, accomplishing more in that short amount of time than most bands of much longer standing.

You will not fail to be impressed, you will be entertained, and you will leave the venue humming every one of their songs for the next month - So make sure you don’t miss out.
