Bio

In '05, Nolan had just left his previous band, Bangarang, and moved halfway across the country from Texas to North Carolina. While going to school and immersing himself in the quiet town of Smithfield, he started to toy around with recording and writing for the first time in years.

What resulted what a massive collection of tunes that caught the ear of friend and drummer, Eric Von Kopp. The two began a friendship and partnership that would continue to solidify as they packed up and moved to Greenville in the fall of 2007. After living together and getting to know each other, the decision to play together happened very organically. Nothing was forced, but the music being toyed around with had something about it that excited the boys more than anything they'd been involved with before.

Now, with Nolan's writing's as a starting point, the two have been playing music every day in an effort to define themselves and refine their sound, as well as lining up shows around Greenville and eastern North Carolina to test out their new sound with friends and peers. In the words of Jeff Blinder, owner of Greenville's notorious Spazzatorium Galleria, "Nolan can make Greenville shut up when he plays, and that's not an easy task."

The two are also involved with the arts community in Greenville thanks to the close proximity of Eastern Carolina University. Artists Ashley Pierce, Chris Schwing, and Michael Webster are all currently collaborating on projects with the band.

Eric and Nolan have no expectations but are always excited to see what each new day brings them. They hope to record an EP by summer.
