The Charters is a Chicago, Indie-Rock band. All members grew up in various neighborhoods of Chicago and have attended, or worked at, charter schools. Although their name sounds political, their music is far from it. Drawing from influences like The Killers, The Strokes, The Vaccines, and The Beatles, The Charters' music has wide appeal. Catchy lyrics, melodic guitars, and good times can all be expected of The Charters. The Charters recently filmed a Christmas music video, It's a Lonely Christmas, on Chicago's 606 Trail and received thousands of views on YouTube.
