The young dogs of THE CHIMNEY have a lot in their march. Beautiful songs, especially that. Impressive performances as support of Go back to The Zoo, the final on the Zeeuwse Belofte contest and the public awards on Regioruis and 2nd Influenz preceded THE CHIMNEY's victory on this year's Hoo!koorts. These boys know what talent contests can do for a band. They are unpredictable and obstinate and play songs that follow a unique logic and cover a broad range of emotions. The Doors, Oasis en Kasabian as references on which these young heroes base their self-willed concept.

THE CHIMNEY has currently recorded their debut 4 track EP with Willy Berrevoets at the Avalance Studios (o.a. Racoon) in Middelburg, The Netherlands, and the result is stunning. The music is full of sound, of high quality and the songs are very accessible and unveiled at every time you listened to them new secrets.
