The Chorus is a new alternative-rock band which started out of Oregon's Willamette Valley but will be moving to Austin, TX in November 2010. The brainchild of lead singer Levi Morgan, their songs focus on topics that are particularly meaningful to the members of the Chorus, including love lost, love found, and the current socio-political circumstances of our nation. Lead guitar player W. Seiji Marsh of the CHERRY POPPIN DADDIES & Levi Morgan create an unique dynamic on stage and musically that is described by critics as "melodic and explosive." They embrace a wide variety of influences, ranging from western classical traditions to 20th century minimalism, post-rock, electronic, jazz and folk music. Working with Grammy nominated producer Sean Flora (The Shins etc...), The Chorus are currently in the studio creating their powerful debut album "Formations" which features the hit single "Right Wing Left Wing." The full album is set to be released in the USA on July 4th, 2011.

"The Chorus rejoiced in the triumph of good; it wailed aloud its grief... No gladness dragged it into the actual action on the stage, and no catastrophe overwhelmed it, except in storm of sympathetic pain. It was the ideal spectator, the soul being purged, as Aristotle expressed it, by Pity and Fear, flinging its song and its cry among the passions and the pain of others. It was the "Vox Humana" amid the storm and the thunder of God." :::: Lauchlan MacLean Watt ::::
