Bio
Sarah and Savannah Church , also known as The Church Sisters, are 15-year-old twins from Danville, Virginia. They have traveled all over Virginia singing for large and small audiences. They started singing publicly in March of 2007 after winning the WAKG Rising Stars talent competition. After winning there, the phone has not stopped ringing. They opened the show for national country recording artist Ty Herndon, and have also met and opened a gospel concert for Russ Taff from the Bill Gaither Gospel Group. They were also very honored to have the opportunity to open a show for the most adored Christian Bluegrass group in America today, The Isaacs. They were invited on stage mid-performance to sing one of The Isaacs' songs, "I'm Gonna Move". Sarah and Savannah performed alongside acclaimed bluegrass artist, Rhonda Vincent, at the 2009 SPBGMA Awards in Nashville. The girl's are currently working with Grammy award winning, singer, songwriter and producer, Carl Jackson.
With Savannah's strong lead vocals and Sarah's angelic harmony, their voices combine to make a truly wonderful gift of God come to life. Sarah and Savannah are so grateful to God for the special gift He has given them. They fully understand that placing God first in their hearts is the only reason they are able to be here today sharing this talent with everyone. The Church Sisters' ministry is allowing them and their family to prosper in ways they never could have imagined. Sarah's and Savannah's first recording titled "Farther Along" is now available.
