Bio

The City Council is made of two members. David Lennon AKA Izzue (The Urban Representative) and Quentin Brown AKA (Q.Brown.) . The group was formed to give a voice to the unheard population and revive true hip hop. The City Council plans to hold emcees accountable for their actions and bring responsibility back to the stage. Most importantly The City Council plans to make noteworthy music and march as soldiers of the Hip Hop Movement.

Izzue (The Urban Representative) has always had a love for Hip hop and started performing in 1999 when he became tired of frequenting music venues and leaving disappointed because of the lack of quality hip hop. In 2001 he became one half of Solar and made the Trilogy EP. In 2003 and 2004 Izzue performed with a Heavy Metal Band called Ira Motive who went on to win Tampa Bay battle of the bands those years. Upon his return to North Carolina he started touring with a rock band called Drive Home and started producing his solo album years later in 2010 he released the album Faded and is currently working on his sophomore endeavor.

In 2010 Izzue ( The urban Representative ) teamed up with his brother Q.Brown to form The City Council. Q.Brown brought fresh ideas, energy and direction to the stage. Future plans for the group include a new mixtape with Dana Lucci of the PitStalkers and Collaborations with Aaron Shepherd of Weekend Excursion, Marcus Lane, the production of Eastwood and others. The group also plans to travel this summer promoting thier new projects.
