the first band, The Classics, was made up of DU brothers. McCormick senior Sho Fujiwara, McCormick senior Mike Sutanto, Communication junior Chris Byrum and McCormick sophomore Noah Pentelovitch got the event started with a few upbeat tracks. The Classics performed some original songs and covered Weezer, with whom they share a remarkable resemblance.

Bio
The classics are "truly original," just like every other band on sonicbids. This is their "unique" story:
Formed in the Winter of 2008 with only a loose collection of musical ideas
written and no set sound in mind, The Classics' chemistry allowed them
to finish material at a rapid rate without sounding forced. They booked
their first show in 3 weeks based solely on a poorly
recorded bedroom demo. Bringing together musicians from very
different backgrounds in the rock world, their influences
span pop, indie, post-rock, metal, alternative, and electronic. The group's influences
are as eclectic as their majors, and include
Weezer, Radiohead, the Beatles, Explosions in the Sky, Muse, and a large group of
pop punk bands such as Green Day and My Chemical Romance. The group's
main strengths lie in their collective songwriting ability and genuine awesomeness.
They recently finished recording their first EP, Mouse Dollar, which is available now.
