Like true american music our goal is to blend genres such as reggae, rock, country, funk and crunk into something original and exciting. We have two albums worth of original material and over 65 cover songs we choose from to craft an ever-evolving set of exciting music.
We have played over 100 show since forming in the summer of 2006 in Ellsworth, Maine. Continually expanding our repertoire, reconfiguring our lineup and most recently experimenting with moustaches.
The Climactics have become musical staples in the region spreading from Bar Harbor to Bangor to Brunswick to Ellsworth...playing at the legendary Grand theater in Ellsworth, opening for Ben Kweller at Bowdoin College, playing the Bucksport Bay Festival and now legendary Brewsters street dance in Brewer, Maine. This is on top of playing out frequently at clubs throughout the state.
