Bio

Every so often a band comes together with a sound that revolutionizes music and the way it is perceived. The Cloud has influences so diverse and a direction so focused that it seems to stand apart from classification. From a small town in Georgia, emerges this type of musical phenomena! The Cloud combines melodic ambience and harmonic vocals with raging distortion to create a sound that cuts through its audience with a satisfying chill. The Cloud fuels crowds with their energy and desire to convey their emotions in an artistic and creative method. They are driven by a mass of spiritual outcries and dark overtones. With their upcoming debut release, The Cloud proves to their listeners what damage they are capable of doing. The diversity of the new EP reflects the diversity of the instrumentalists who fought together to create it. Nothing holds this band back as they explode into mainstream and fill the musical emptiness that other bands choose to avoid.

When you meet a band of musicians, you expect your first conversation to adhere to a certain set of stereotypes. You expect an exaggerated story of success, complete with a slew of accomplishments and few, if any, failures. You expect an air of arrogance and superiority, with a feeling that both are sheltering an overwhelming apprehension.

You don't expect a response like, “Everything's great; we're just doing what we do. How are you?” The Cloud doesn't want to tell you about their past, they would rather explain themselves with their present. Individually, they are five very different people with very different histories, goals, and personalities. Together, they are a unified entity focused on one goal: creating the music they love and sharing it with people who feel the same.

You can't explain an emotion. You can't tell someone what love or hate feels like. Just as an emotion must be experienced, so must The Cloud. Their music is an explanation in and of itself.
