Rhonda Anaconda, Colonel Blumpkin, and Monster Jonathan are the last earthly vestiges of a species known as C... MOnSteRs. Now a rock gang in West Palm Beach, their music portrays the life and times of asteroidz, dogs with poo encrusted fur, python-leather everything, tea time sing-songs, and true love. Half cheeky brit pop, half grand master flash, half progressive rock from 1974/1975. and half pirate memory games.
On the way to becoming a C...MOnSteR, Colonel Blumpkin spent some time singing, guitaring and writing songs for such bands as Artaud (Los Angeles), Aerial Servant (Los Angeles), Fluff Chick (Chapel Hill) and Rice Dream (Balitmore). Monster Jonathan's list of music stretches across several states, decades and dimensions--One Dog's Opinion (West Palm Beach), The Dust Devils (NYC), and numerous NYC collaborations including the likes of Steve Shelly (Sonic Youth). Rhonda Anaconda spent her rock upbringing in the punk scene of southern Arizona, including the band Flavor Cage.
