Biography

The Cold Chills

The Cold Chills were formed in 2010 by producer/drummer Rob Gaudet, lead singer Aaron Winter, guitarist Zeke Middleton and bass player Ferrari Watts. After spending 2010 releasing their self-titled cd, honing their guitar riffs and lyrically melodic sound at shows in and around Los Angeles, The Cold Chills have dug deeper into the depths of their life experiences and musical diversity with sophomore cd, “Lighter In The Shadows.”

“Lighter In The Shadows” lead-off track “Parasite” sets an eerie mood complimented by a crisp, hard hitting chorus. Follow-up track “Statue In Your Mind” showcases the band’s ability to just plain rock with a blues style guitar riff, aggressive drums and smooth vocals. Their ability to play down tempo grooves is illuminated in tracks like “Get Yourself Right,” with a head-boppin progression and catchy chorus melody compliments of Aaron Winter. Their diverse melodic rock style continues to shine to the finish for the remainder of “Lighter In The Shadows.”

The Cold Chills continue to progress and grow playing at many of the best venues in and around Los Angeles including Sunset Strip’s The Viper Room and The Roxy.

Hope and Glory

Written By: Lyrics by Aaron Winter

HOPE AND GLORY

A thousand words for the way I feel
It’s hard to pretend when I know it’s real
I can recall the times, we had all the stories
Reliving the days we had of hope and glory

You always told me that someday it will be alright, be alright, be alright

Travel the world, just to see one glance
Romantic love enchanted within dance
I can recall the times, we had all the stories
Reliving the days we had of hope and glory

You always told me that someday it will be alright, be alright
You always told me that someday it will be alright, be alright, be alright

Walk a thousand miles just to see your face
Getting all excited from the thought of your grace
I can recall the times, we had all the stories
Reliving the days we had of hope and glory

You always told me that someday it will be alright, be alright
You always told me that someday it will be alright, be alright, be alright

Luxury

Written By: Lyrics by Aaron Winter

LUXURY

Like it low, under the breeze
Temperature a lower degrees
Like it cool, like it nice
Drink the liquid, eat the ice
Eat the liquid, drink the ice
Drink the liquid, eat the ice

To taste the finer things indeed
The life of luxury
When more is all you ever need
The life of luxury is yours

You got the goods, pack your bags
The more elusive, you’ve got to have
Got the glimmer, perfect hair
The latest fashion, wear the glare

To taste the finer things indeed
The life of luxury
When more is all you ever need
The life of luxury is yours

To taste the finer things indeed
The life of luxury
When more is all you ever need
The life of luxury is yours

Get Yourself Right

Written By: Lyrics by Aaron Winter

GET YOURSELF RIGHT

Get yourself right, to where,
to where you want to be
Take to the air, soar higher than an eagle’s stare
Then let go, move on, or you’ll never know
Take control, to win back your own soul

She – she – she
She likes it good, then flies, then flies away
She – she – she

She likes it good, then flies,
then flies away home
Taking it back, beware,
the unknown can cripple with fear
Lay- it out, plan comes without much doubt
Take- it on, before you’re never known
Take- it on, before you’re dead and gone

She – she – she
She likes it good, then flies, then flies away
She – she – she
She likes it good, then flies,
then flies away home…

You know I know – you know I know –
you know, I know – you know

She – she – she
She likes it good, then flies, then flies away
She – she – she
She likes it good, then flies,
then flies away home

Statue in your Mind

Written By: Lyrics by Aaron Winter

STATUE IN YOUR MIND

She’s beyond words defined
She’s like the sun, magnified

Or, how do you say?
Camera lens
Ink blot pen
Statue in, statue in, statue in,
statue in your mind

Heading for the beat down
Heading for the beat down
Of your life
Of your life
Eyes remind as you’re looking back,
baby, Feel too much, feel too much
Keep on moving, looking straight ahead
Keep your eyes ahead, your eyes ahead
She’s going to bring it

We can go anywhere
We climb high, spiral stairs

Or, how do you say?
Camera lens
Ink blot pen
Statue in, statue in, statue in,
statue in your mind

Heading for the beat down
Heading for the beat down
Of your life
Of your life
Eyes remind as you’re looking back, baby
Feel too much, feel too much
Keep on moving, looking straight ahead
Keep your eyes ahead, your eyes ahead
She’s going to bring it

Parasite

Written By: Lyrics by Aaron Winter

PARASITE

Lying flat in an operation room
A silver scalpel scraps the skin from view
The medication didn’t seem to take the pain
Please take the pain away
Skull cracked, hit the brain cerebellum
Then the mind goes numb
and you can’t even tell’em
That, the patient doesn’t seem to understand
What you gonna do man!?

I can’t even move
Like a moth to an open flame
When the blood pulls away with the parasite

Every time that look in her eyes
Then she walks that way with her silky thighs
Can’t help but lose all control, Oh no- let go
Tangled up in her spider web
Of confusion- could have, should have left
But the pleasure compliments the pain
Oh no- I’m insane

I can’t even move
Like a moth to an open flame
When the blood pulls away with the parasite

Choking gasp, can hardly breathe
Love, loss, love, like Achilles disease
All you’ve had and all you’ve known
Withers away like a corpse in a hole
Hope and prayin’ a way.
Hope and prayin’ away, I believe in faith

I can’t even move
Like a moth to an open flame
When the blood pulls away with the parasite
