Bio
The Cold Cold Hearts were formed in April 2007 three regulars at an open mic night decided to get together and jam in the drummers bedroom. The recordings of that first afternoon turned into their CMJ2007 demo and a place on the standby list. The band travelled out to New York and despite only a few hours of ever playing together and no gig experience they partied for a week and ended their stay by playing a show at the Laila Lounge in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Inspired by their New York trip the band began writing what has become their Ghosts of Williamsburg EP (inspired by the ghostly pale photos of their show). Recorded just a few weeks ago the unmixed versions of three tracks complete their submission and they hope to release a produced version in 2009. The Cold Cold Hearts have been compared to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Kings of Leon and The Racounteurs but are inspired by legendary country artists including Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. The Cold Cold Hearts play stomping blues rock with country roots.
