"Enumerate EP"

"The Comeback Tour employs the emotional indie rock sound of bands like Pedro the Lion and Built to Spill... Their songs are carefully constructed and well-written... This band could be the next best thing if they get out of the DIY bubble. Check 'em out now before they get too big for their britches." - Smother Magazine

"Apologizing the Broadcast"

"Intelligent, literate rock that builds on its influences without ripping them off."

"The Comeback Tour’s sound is a wonderful throwback to old indie rock and emo bands, recalling crunchy vocals and sensitive themes. Quite honestly, listening to Apologizing the Broadcast was an exercise in nostalgia and enthusiasm for the band’s skills in musicianship and songwriting."

"[The album] seeks to tell the story of 'two brothers who desperately try to save their city from a catastrophic flood.' Through carefully painted musical imagery and poetic songwriting, the story is both intricately and marvelously communicated."

"The music is unique and, as mentioned before, pays excellent homage to [its] roots. The Comeback Tour’s Apologizing the Broadcast will definitely find its place in my regular CD rotation."

-Andrea Caruso - Independent Clauses

"Apologizing the Broadcast"

"The Comeback Tour throws in some catchy riffs and hints of experimentalism, while overall not straying too far off the beaten path in their latest album entitled: Apologizing the Broadcast."

"One thing that really struck me in this album was the sampling/orchestra pieces performed in between each song. It gave a very professional feeling to the overall work, and I found it impressive."

"Another thing I found cool was the use of a story throughout the entire album. The story, according to the written insert, is: Two brothers encounter God, and He informs them that a catastrophic flood will soon hit their city. So the album is basically all about their struggle to try and stop it." - The HV Scene

"Apologizing the Broadcast"

"Separated out into three distinct movements, 'Apologizing the Broadcast' is an ambitious endeavor to say the least. Led by a rock group unafraid of dazzling anyone with their supreme chops, the album is sparkling with elements of noise pop, indie rock, and tons of attitude. This is meant for the crowd who loves both directions the indie rock scene turned once Hot Water Music leapt onto the scene."

Bio

In music, change is inevitable; for The Comeback Tour, it is a constant. Since their start in January 2005, the Poughkeepsie, NY, based indie-rock band has seen a revolving door of membership spanning three states and five cities. With the release of their first full length album in March 2006—a conceptual story-album titled Apologizing the Broadcast—the band has caught the eyes and ears of show-goers all across New York and New England with a fervent live set that includes narrations of the album’s parable between songs.

With the only certainty being that nothing is certain, founding members Kevin Kneifel and Nathan Ciraulo have come to embrace the growth that change brings. Welcoming new drummer Alex David in January 2007, and with new music based on the Biblical story of Jacob and Esau, The Comeback Tour continues to move forward through constant touring and writing—and eagerly awaits what changes the future may bring.

The Comeback Tour has had the privilege of sharing the stage with numerous important artists including The Receiving End of Sirens, Cool Hand Luke, Dizmas, Hundred Year Storm, So Long Forgotten, After the Sirens, Kiss Kiss, Fire When Ready, Bastian, and The Flood Memoirs.

The band's new EP "And Then He Dreamed..." is a progressive retelling of the biblical story of Jacob and Esau. The album is a short-run limited edition EP that sets the tone for The Comeback Tour's upcoming full-length "His Majesty, The King" which is planned for release in late 2008.
