Bio

Paul Isaak
Anything but Ordinary

Paul Isaak was born in 1971, the youngest child to a delightfully average family. His father was a lawyer, and his mother a social worker. They lived in a typical middle class suburb, surrounded by nice normal people, who expected that Paul would one day become a teacher, or a consultant, or a tax-collector. Yet as he grew, that fragile veil of normality would soon be tragically shattered.

While the other teens were experimenting with drugs, alcohol, and girls, Paul mysteriously rejected these traditional rites of passage. Instead he learned to juggle and experimented with manipulating gravity. He also perfected manipulating people's emotions to make them laugh, chuckle and guffaw, and began performing at children's birthday parties. He never actually rejected the social norm of dating girls, but he was the geek who juggled. You do the math…

Outgrowing the kids party market, he graduated to
being a street performer, where he refined his
abilities to defy convention, and manage audiences.
Armed with his new comedic skills he began touring
the world, performing at festivals, fairs, conventions, and on cruise ships.

On one such trip, he met a beautiful woman who was the daughter of an accountant, who he corrupted. She became an entertainer too.

Paul's brother is the professor of linguistics at a
prestigious Ivy League school. Paul plays with
shiny toys.

Paul and his family now live in a nice middle
class suburb, surrounded by people who are
teachers, engineers, and consultants. While the
neighbors mow their lawns, and wax their minivans,
Paul practices eating fire, and teaches the
local children to juggle.

And the world is short a tax collector.
