Bio
The Con started as brothers Adam ( vocals-guitars ) and Danny ( vocals-guitars ) Withers writing songs together at their parents home in the sleepy devon town Kingsbridge. An advert was answered by Dave Robbins ( Bass Guitar ), and a shared influnces of the kinks, the jam and clash put the three of them on the same wavelength. Next came Lyndon Tuck ( drums ). As soon as the first few bars were played together they knew they were something speacial, The Con natrually had the energy of The Who or Led Zeppelin in thier early years. As songs were written they devoloped an unique sound, singing about what is happening around, the dieing towns, the bordom of small town life and the strange things that can happen after dark! The Con are soon to start recording thier debut album, but in mean time there are gigs to be played and more songs to write. The future is bright for The Con!
