Bio
The Conglomerate started as a conglomerate of musical talent and interests. From jazz gigs to funk jam sessions, these musicians have seen it all. Regardless what came along, they improvised and did without, frequently swapping members to fill in.
As time passed, the group solidified into a tight 6 member funk/jam band with horns. Their impromptu debut performance shattered expectations and gave rise to plethora of musical opportunities.
Jazz principles and spontaneous composition are an integral part of the The Conglomerate's style and outlook on music, as all the members are well trained in these areas. You can expect every show to be full of surprises and every song to be different and fresh each time you hear it. Come witness the musical process at work, from creating brand new songs on the spot, to blending old songs with new ideas.
