The COOLERZ - Rock'n Blues Band

The COOLERZ - Rock'n Blues Band

 Chicago, Illinois, USA

The Coolerz are a guitar-driven rock’n blues band that delivers a BIG show. This is not a classic rock band. These guys take the best of yesterday and today’s guitar hero’s and release a rock’n roll intensity to the blues that’s explosive, melding the best of blues and rock with power and passion.

Discover why Jonathon Brandmeier of 97.9 WLUP Chicago Loop radio says “You have to checkout Terry & the Coolerz band”.

Veteran blues singer Terry Roat fronts the band with a rough and tasty performance. His gruff bluesy vocal is a perfect complement to the energized music. Especially, when paired with the double-barrel guitar duo Larry Chomycz and Smoke'n Joey Radovic. These two players blast out muscular riffs, double-stop harmonies and refreshing solos that are the real deal. Their combined talents create a feast for all guitar lovers. Rounding out their sound is bassist Rich “Porkchop” Petraitis who drives a deep funky groove and gets the crowd up and dancing every time. “Big John” Kargol is a powerhouse drummer playing a thundering kit. He’s one of the hardest hitting drummers in Chicago land and adds a bit of captivating comedy to the act that sets this band apart from other entertainers.

Take a tight band that has been tearing up local roadhouse floor boards, add material that everyone knows well with the motivation of a heady audience and you get a show that really cooks. That’s what the Coolerz deliver. They’re a great opening band and keen to get the crowd prepped for the main act.
