The Cool Hands were another one of the bands I put on my list or artists to check out and they fully lived up to the hype. With some awesome power drumming, infectious bass riffs, beautifully harsh vocals, the band was an absolute treat to see. They’re blend of garage rock, punk, and a little bit of folk set them apart from any of the other bands I saw that night. Like I said in my list of artist to watch out for, The Cool Hands is proof of everything awesome about the Toronto punk scene and after seeing these guys live I can say that without a single doubt. They’re innovative, passionate, fun, and just simply amazing. - Antidote Mag
One of the most talented and entertaining bands in Toronto right now is the awesome garage rock trio The Cool Hands. Frequenting The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern and the Silver Dollar Room, they put on a great show. Last summer, I sat down with Luke (vocals and guitar), Sally (drums) and Ty (vocals and bass) for a fun dinner and interview. - The Indie Blender
“Repetition” The Cool Hands
RIYL: Fuzzy, grungy, garage rock with a lot of groove
Toronto based power-trio, the Cool Hands, recently dropped their latest in a long line of solid singles and EPs. Like the title implies, the single, off their forthcoming 7”, “DAWN”, features a repetitive but oh-so catchy riff couples with a fantastic groove. “DAWN” will be the final installment of the band’s Tired and Restless series. - The Edge 102.1
Featuring music from The Try Umphs, Pseudo, The Live Amps, VAGUESS, The Velveteins, The Crooked, The Dirty Nil, Single Mothers, The Flatliners, and more!

Bio
We give away our vinyl, pins, tshirts at every show to bar staff and security for keeping the show alive. In the past we opened for FIDLAR, La Luz, Black Pistol Fire, the Districts, Bloodshot Bill, Dex Romweber, Seratones, CATL, and played on Live55 and Rogers "Toronto Sessions". Occasionally play rap covers, a typewriter, and toy piano onstage.
We write, produce and make art for all the releases ourselves.
