The Cool Kids Table represents everything that five friends have worked towards over the past 2 years. The band prefers not to be labeled and plays everything from pop-punk to emo to Kelly Clarkson covers. Captivating stage presence and undeniable personality is what fuels the band from Langhorne, PA.
Starting out as a three piece band in eighth grade, the original members Chris, Tom, and Joe have since added Mike and Hayden to the lineup. Struggling at first to find a sound and a name, The Cool Kids Table has overcome numerous arguments and break-ups to form what they are today.
While the music TCKT plays is rock, most songs possess elements of other genres which we are influenced by. Bands like Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, and even Led Zeppelin provide the most inspiration in song writing.
In order to set The Cool Kids Table apart from other local bands, the band relies on stage presence to captivate the crowd. Hayden, Tom, and Mike relentlessly swing their instruments through every show, keeping even procrastinators entertained.
The Cool Kids Table hopes that even more of their dreams come true this summer by pursuing as many shows as they can and releasing their demo, "Drunken Words on Sober Thoughts."
