Bio

The Cosmos is a band that stands out from the current trend of bland and standardized Rock. Not afraid of the experimental, The Cosmos explore odd time signatures, strange rhythms, progressive song writing and irregular melodies. The band was formed in 2010 by two metal and prog heads, NOAH and Nat, in a small apartment in Park Slope, Brooklyn. In 2011-12, The Cosmos played more than two dozen live shows in the New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut area, including: Highline Ballroom, Tammany Hall, Sullivan Hall, Europa Club, The Paper Box, Fontana’s, Trash Bar, The Loop Lounge, The Rock Shop, Fat Baby, The Legion, National Underground… 2012 also saw the release of The Cosmos four track EP. On October 22, 2012, The Cosmos released a single from their mostly yet unrecorded second EP. The single was titled "Circles in the Sky" and debuted the bands new take on instrumental and post-rock song writing and massive guitar sound. The next single from their second EP will be released in November.
