Here are some CD reviews:

Heartfelt, warm and inviting. This is the real deal!
Dave Sarrazin – CKCU Carleton University Radio, Ottawa, ON

The song ‘’Sometimes’’ is very much a hit song. I’m sure you guys know that but if you don’t please take it from me. This song is a smash. It sounds like something that you would hear at the end of a really big film. Very good song, musicianship, melodies, etc, everything.
Bob Robinson – Grammy Award winning producer, Hollywood, CA

Start to finish a strong release. Flavorsome guitar riffs, lead by strong catchy melodies creating a perfect mix that can only be described as flawless. A more relaxed Foo Fighters sound, but with the same intensity, the Counselors continue to bring their big league sound to the table.
Wes Collins - Bryan Farrish Radio Promotion, Santa Monica, CA

‘’...Les Conseillers en chef, Sébastien Thériault et Héléna Van Bockern, ont le mérite de mettre en valeur leurs talents de mélodistes sur les chansons Roads, Sometimes et Freaked Out, ces dernières pourraient se retrouver sur les ondes de quelques radios...’’
NL - Bang Bang magazine, Montréal

The Counselors are a very well put together band. With catchy hooks, excellent vocals and stellar guitar playing this band is surely going to the top. It won't be long before the major radio stations throughout the States and Canada catch onto this band!"
Scott Osika - Plattsburgh Pipeline Radio, Plattsburgh, NY

Hope to see you in TO we love it there!!

Any Other Place (#3 on Ourstage.com CMJ Channel!)

ANY OTHER PLACE

You’re gone, you’re gone away with my dreams
And I forget what you look like
I know, I’m missing what we use to be
And now I’m scared of being too weak

I don’t know why you just can’t see anyway out of here
I don’t know why you just can’t be in any other place

Your life, your life’s a twisted story
And I can’t keep on going like this
You lose your mind you ever so deep
I thought you said you’d stay beside me
Words are just words caught between the lines
Signs are just signs but sometimes good advice

I don’t know why you just can’t see anyway out of here
I don’t know why you just can’t be in any other place

I don’t know if I can be what you want me to be
I don’t know if ever you can see someone that is reasonably me
Don’t go kiss me baby, don’t go kiss me lonely
Don’t go kiss me baby, you don’t know how to love me

Go on, broken hearts
Go on, broken hearts
Go on, broken hearts
Go on, broken hearts

Roads

ROADS

Back and forth from town to town
You never know how further down it will go

Don’t stop driving baby
You know they’re waiting for you
Don’t stop driving baby
They’re in need of your hand

Back and forth from door to door
The lights are turning grey, it’s never been this way

Don’t stop driving baby
You know they can’t get out of it
Don’t stop driving baby
They’re in need of your hand

‘Cos when you don’t look at it, it does not exist
‘Cos when you don’t look at it, it does not exist

When you try to talk, but you end your sentence singing
You leave me speechless you said I know something is wrong

Arms crossed in front of such pain
It ain’t how, how it should be
Mouth shot, in front of such scenes
It ain’t how, how it should be
Eyes closed at adversity door
Back to good old days like before
Mouth shot, in front of such scenes
It ain’t how, how it should be

When you try to talk, but you end your sentence singing
You leave me speechless you said I know something
When you try to talk, but you end your sentence singing
You leave me speechless you said I know something is wrong
You said I know something is wrong
I know something is wrong

Sometimes

Written By: The Counselors

SOMETIMES

Heading for something true
Looking for another day
Did you feel like there's a part you'll never see
Don't you want to know now

Why bother? Why bother?
I'm not kneeling down oh no but...

Sometimes there's nothing I could say
Sometimes there's nothing I could change
Sometimes you feel like you just don't fit in
Especially when things are lost in advance

I'm driving on the fast lane
And I won’t look back again

Never ending conversations (going nowhere)
And I can't believe I'm here (guilty as you are)
And I'm trying hard to say, yes I'm sorry
But I'm strangled by the silence

I'm not kneeling down
Why bother? Why bother?
I'm not kneeling down oh no but...

Sometimes there's nothing I could say
Sometimes there's nothing I could change
Sometimes you feel like you just don't fit in
Especially when things are lost in advance

I don’t know, I don’t know, if you can help me

There's a shadow hanging over my head
But I don’t worry, it fills my empty mornings
Chances are I'll be losing my way
But I know better days are coming

Sometimes there's nothing I could say
Sometimes there's nothing I could change
Sometimes you feel like you just don't fit in
Especially when things are lost in advance

Empty mornings that just drives me insane
Empty mornings that just drives me insane

Someone Right Above You

Written By: The Counselors

SOMEONE RIGHT ABOVE YOU

One day’s awake while you’re falling asleep
Planes into buildings, wondering what that means?

Everyone, everyone was watching
Everyone was, everyone was asking

I feel so glad to feel so safe, and know that there’s someone right above you
There’s something cool there’s something neet, in taking things that are not yours

One day the wind will sweep away the whole thing
One day you’ll feel lost inside the same fear

Everyone, everyone was watching
Everyone was, everyone was gasping

I feel so glad to feel so safe, and know that there’s someone right above you
There’s something cool there’s something neet, in taking things that are not yours

There’s something wrong now, what else can you say?
There’s something wrong now, what else can you say?

It feels so good to be so vain, believe in God and Lollipop games
When life is all that I can save, when life is all when I’m not me
It feels so good to be so vain, believe in God and Lollipop games
When life is all that I can save, when life is all when I’m not me
