"Rob Covert Returns in: The Covert Operation"

Rob Covert began entertaining
audiences at the early age of 5, when he performed “You Are My
Sunshine” at a local talent show,
taking 2nd place. Since then, Rob has had“stage fever” whether it be theatrical, musical, or musical theater, he fell in love with the stage; making people laugh, dance,
and eventually just plain rock out!

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of seeing many Rob, Bob, and Dr. Bob performances in his various incarnations and
have never walked away disappointed. Actually, quite the opposite, I have always been impressed and at times awed. In
speaking with Rob, a humble and rather soft spoken man, you would not guess how powerful and engaging his stage presence is.
Talent oozes from his soul and shines through in the resonance of his guitar playing and vocalization of his poignant lyrics. Clevelanders (and maybe some Denver
folks too) may remember Rob from The New Roddicks . That award winning band disappointed many when their chapter came to a close. Others may know
Rob most from his time as “Dr. Bob” with another north east Ohio native, Connor O’Brien. Connor’s band toured with some famous musicians, performed in
front of huge audiences and enjoyed a great deal of national and local radio play with "Ready to Fall".

It perhaps is easiest to grasp the scope of Rob Covert’s achievements by viewing them
in the listing below.

During this time, Rob found a new
direction in my life as a husband and father, but also as a songwriter, and he began to plot
my return to the stage with a whole new project called “The Covert Operation”.

The Covert Operation : Rob Covert-
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, Corbet Hein- Bass, Cutty Cutright Sr- Keyboard/Synth, Joe
Gavorski- Drums.

In retrospect, when Rob first picked up the guitar at age 17, he immediately began to write his own songs. Even if it was just two chords, Rob had a passion and a knack for writing, arranging, recording, and experimenting with music and sound. The Covert Operation synchronizes
these abilities into what may prove to be Rob’s greatest musical achievement to date. - North Coast Voice

After 10+ years of writing, recording, and touring, singer/songwriter Rob Covert took a hiatus from the music scene to reinvent himself personally and artistically.

After 3 years, Rob returned to the spotlight with a brand new project called The Covert Operation. The "Covert" part of the name comes directly from Rob's last name...the "Operation" part simply describes an action that is taking place right now. In other words, Rob Covert is right now on the move and operating in his element, bringing a fresh sound to the music scene.

The Covert Operation are musical agents on a mission of truth, justice, and rock n’ roll. While performing their addictive missions, TCO brings a flavorful twist to the typical rock vibe you’re used to hearing. Their wild retro sound will beat to each eclectic drum, and by the end will have fulfilled their mission to rock your soul.
