"The Crash Report – Play"

Indie-rockers The Crash Report burst on to the music scene with ‘Play’, a song that borrows from existing alt-rock conventions with enough originality to separate it from the norm. Boasting an excellent riff, sing-a-long chorus and driving drum beat, this debut single is well-worth checking out, as with more new material The Crash Report could be the latest group to rise from their indie status. - fmv.magazine

"The Crash Report – Play Review"

Surrey-based Alternative Rock band The Crash Report released their first single ‘Play’ in May this year, with their debut E.P. to be released this summer. The band are also set to embark on a tour later this year.
In ‘Play’ Leonora Babi succeeds in making The Crash Report sound massively different from most other female-fronted rock bands, with the outcome being so much more than yet another Paramore sound-alike. The closest comparison which can be made is probably to that of Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), but, comparisons aside, this song really is worth listening to. The vocals are strong, emotional and flawless; their sound is unique and original; each member shows phenomenal musicianship; and the song is catchy, with a chorus which you can’t help but remember. Joined by Gigliola Berguecio (guitar), Callum Rose (guitar), Livvy Baker-Mendoza (bass) and Rob Wheeler (drums), The Crash Report are definitely one to watch. - The Music Mag

"The Crash Report – Play: Out Now"

In this day and age when it comes to the alternative/rock/indie genres it’s rare to see a female fronted act. What’s even rarer is to see a female fronted act that is any good. That is where Crash Report are full of surprises the best one to date is that lead singer Leonora Babi has no resemblance what so ever to Paramore. As good as Paramore may be it is still always a nice surprise when you hear a lead singer who has taken their own original approach not just mirroring the vocal approach of Hayley Williams.

The Crash Report are a surrey based band who have come far. ‘Play’ is their first single and it’s a first single to be proud of with a chorus that definitely delivers a punch: “Play the same old game. Who wins this stake, I do not care, we’re always winnin’ Face the same old blame, who takes this punch,
I do not know, ’cause we surrender.”

With an album to follow up ‘play’ out later this summer the expectations on The Crash Report are definitely high.

Bio

The Crash Report, albeit previously known as Orbit Haze, was born in the classrooms of ACM (Guildford, Surrey) in 2010 where guitarist Callum and original drummer decided to start up a rock band with a difference - 2 boys and 3 girls (including the front-woman).

Soon their influences led them to creating a sound that incorporates progressive and punk rock guitars and drums with soulful and bluesy melodies.

Since its inception, the band has been gigging in the South East and refining their music and live performances.

Their début single 'Play' sold 200 copies in its launch night and generated 1000 views in its first week!

Due to the multinational nature of the group, feedback from across Europe (Greece, Italy and Spain) has been very positive.

In addition to the European market, the group wants to take an international approach to the growth of their fan base promoting their music to markets such as China and Japan.
