Biography

Throw Parliament Funkadelic, Led Zepplin, Prince, James Brown, and Queen in a blender, freeze, and take a bite, and you’d have the New York based band THE CREAMSICLES. From Burning Man, to The New York City Marathon, to the National Theater of Japan, THE CREAMSICLES have toured and performed extensively. Made up of John Sully (songwriter/guitar/vocals), Craig Gottlieb (bass), and Marcello Pantano (drums), THE CREAMSICLES not only make great Rock music, but bring a level of polish, showmanship, and full on “get your groove on” style to their performances that is in short supply on the indie circuit currently.

Formed in 2005, the band has been performing steadily from the beginning. Recent gigs in the New York area include Mercury Lounge, B.B. King’s, The Stephen Talkhouse, Fat Baby, Fontana’s, Crash Mansion, and The Knitting Factory. They have also become popular on the Festival circuit, and have performed for The Guinness Festival, The Sarasota Arts Festival in Florida, and City Meals on Wheels Media Battle of the Bands, to name a few. Their audience has grown exponentially since the release of their debut album, “The Perfect Girl” in 2006.
