The Crimson Flames were formed by Mack Slater a singer-songwriter from Marietta, GA whom was looking to put a band together. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist Slater focused mainly on guitar, singing, and writing songs for many years prior to the Crimson Flames. After about 6 or 7 other bands Slater put up an ad at Kennesaw State and was contacted by Jonathon Pearson a bass player from Roswell, GA. Slater and Pearson soon formed a bond and looked anxiously looked for a drummer. As fate would have it Carlos Saenz an old casual friend of Slater's would answer their ad that said they were looking for a drummer. Before long the Crimon Flames were tearing up Shakedown Street in Cartersville, playing to friends and family members a like. They are currently lining up many shows for 2004 and working on a full length CD.
