Bio
The Crooks are Win Dunham and Mikey Bullister. They are from Austin, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts respectively. They met each other while in their freshman year at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Mikey, an award-winning a capella beat-boxer, expressed interest in forming a band with Win after hearing him play a set at a local venue. The two discussed influences like Cocorosie, Jamie T, Spoon, and Vampire Weekend. The two started playing gigs and house parties around the college, developing a sizable fan base at the college.
