The Cube are the brainchild of performance poet and songwriter Terry McArthur and producer/composer Phil Rigger. The Sydney based duo have dedicated themselves to what Terry describes as our grand sonic experiment.
Terrys lyrics offers audiences a rich poetic vein of imagery. His work has been described as remarkable for a superbly restrained tenderness and appraisal, expressed in often dazzling images (Michael Sharkey).
His collaboration with Phil Rigger, a consummate composer and gifted singer has seen the two win acclaim for a mesmerising brand of music that melds spoken word vocals with electronica, pop, rock and world influences.
The Cube have released one album Permanent Scars, a hand full of superb singles, and a series of acclaimed video clips. Along the way they have attracted a growing fan base stretching from Sydney to the USA, France, and Finland.
