The Cupertino Solid

Forming in 2001, THe Cupertino Solid has been bringing it's brand of Stonesy Classic Rock played with an early punk rock spirit to Chicago's Southland for nearly five years now. The band draws influences from all over the map. You can hear elements of 50's sock hopping rock n roll that would make Buddy Holly blush, the guitar jangle of the British invasion of the 1960's; from 70's funk and disco to the riotous explosion of early punk rock, with a sweaty rhythm section expertly handling whatever comes it's way. Specific influences include The Rolling Stones, The Replacements, The Clash, The Who, The New York Dolls...the list goes on and on. The Cupertino Solid brings the fun back to a Chicago music scene that's been sorely missing just that recently. Nobody forgets a Solid performance. They thank you for your time.
