"Dayton Daily News - GO! Section CD Reviews Feb. 4, 2005"

Blonde on Blue, the new album from the Curious Animals, is an excellent
collection of original songs that mix classic rock, electric blues, folk rock
and more. The quartet obviously draws inspiration from the Band, Bob Dylan,
the Allman Brothers and Van Morrison, but the end results are fresh
and modern.

Tom Henninger (vocals, acoustic guitar, piano and organ) is the lead singer
and songwriter, but this is by no means a one-man show. Buckets of Love,
Workin' on a Farm and other cuts are bolstered by the fluid rhythm section
of Greg Snyder (drums and percussion) and Bruce "Moose" Warren (bass),
who can easily handle funky grooves, high-energy vamps, jazzy interludes,
country shuffles and adrenalized rock. The group's secret weapon is guitarist
Steve Langamo, who provides tasty lead work throughout the disc.

The Curious Animals have been performing off and on since 1993 and aren't
one of most visible acts in the area. Don't let the low profile fool you — these
guys have plenty of good music to offer.

Bio

The Curious Animals have recorded two CDs entirely of original songs, “Blonde on Blue” & “No One’s Home” and performed at numerous shows, clubs and events in the greater Ohio area over the last several years. The strong material and overall sound of the Curious Animals has developed and matured into a hybrid of rock, blues, folk and jazz.

Moose Warren – Bass guitar, backing vocals

Graduate of Wright State University and the School of Hard Knocks. Moose has played bass since the age of 16. Early influences included Chris Squire and Geddy Lee. More recently his attention has turned to jazz players such as Stanley Clarke and Ron Carter. His credits include several years with the bands Trouzer Mice and U.S. Mods and more recently The Visionaries.

Greg Snyder – Drums, percussion & backing vocals

Greg has played in many bands in Dayton & Cincinnati including Trouzer Mice, Cool Rudy, Gaint & The Visionaries. Greg has performed in a wide variety of bands from drum corps and reggae to progressive and hard rock bands. Influences - Yes, Genesis, Rush, Frank Zappa, Dave Matthews, Stone Temple Pilots and many jazz musicians.

Eric Replogle - Lead guitar

I graduated from Centerville High School and have attended Wright State and Sinclair. 24 years old. I've lived in Dayton all my life (oh yeah!). Favorite music ranges from The Band, Bob Dylan, to Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, and basically anything soul. I also have a love for photography and art. I come from a family of musicians which kick-started my love of music right away.
One day I hope to live on the west or east coast. North or south doesn't really matter. As long as there is an ocean and mountains.

Dana Farley Lead vocals, acoustic, electric, and synth guitar
It is not clear when and where Dana was born.
It is rumored he was raised by wolves where he learned the ability to mimic other animals as a means of defense and also to amuse his "family". This abilty comes in handy when covering songs by Bob Dylan, Van Morrisson, and Tom Petty. All shots are current and he is available free to a good home.
