Meet The Daddybones,Nashville's Hip Hop/Comedy sensation and featured artists from the soundtrack of the motion picture "NOOBZ". Audiences describe their performances as "good time music" and their songs as "hilarious,entertaining,and clever". Their sound ,also known as "hippie hop",is a mixture of old school Hip Hop,live instrumentation,and witty,comedic lyrics that have won over audiences of all ages.
The Daddybones are currently touring to promote their independent album release "Imaginary Fans",available on ITunes,Rhapsody,and other music retail sites.Their songs: "Original Gamer,My Lil Homie,and Failed Idea 1" are featured in the motion picture NOOBZ,starring Jason Mewes ,in theaters January 2013. The Daddybones write,produce,compose,record,mix,and master their own music. They also write,direct,film,and edit their own music videos such as "Scared of Clowns" and "Babysitter",available for viewing on You Tube and Funny Or Die.com.
The Daddybones consist of two members: lead guitarist/vocalist Travis Trout and lead vocalist/D.J. Brian Smith. Originally from Bristow,OK,Travis Trout moved to Nashville at age 12 with his father,singer/song writer David Trout. Travis has since become a well established songwriter,musician, and producer in Nashville's thriving music scene. Brian Smith is from Nashville,TN and studied recording industry management at Middle Tennessee State University. He has spent the past 20 years as a song writer,producer,DJ,independent label owner,and pioneer in Nashville's Hip Hop movement. Travis and Brian met 10 years ago through music production and formed The Daddybones in February 2011. Their live performances include members :Danny "Doobie" Bennett on bass, Mitch "Meeeotch" Martin on drums,and Brandon "Fisto" Spence on keys.
2012 has been a busy,but productive year for The Daddybones, including performances at Rocket Town,The Hard Rock Cafe, Nashville's Germantown Street Festival,Nashville Center Stage, Belcourt Taps and Tappas,and other music venues in and around Music City.
