Bio
The Dakota Project is a pop-country duo from South Florida that consists of Max Dalton, lead vocalist and guitarist, and Steven Style, bassist and vocalist. Their sound has the perfect blend of sonic texturing - combining elements of contemporary pop, country and rhythmic energy - reminiscent of legendary, American rock bands such as the Eagles.
The Dakota Project has a wealth of experience to draw upon to guide them on their journey. In addition to working with some of the best in the business, Max had contemporary hit radio success with the top 40 single “When I Dream About You” and Steve played bass for Atlantic Recording artist Linear, whose single “Sending All My Love” charted number five in the United States and sold over a million copies worldwide.
Dalton and Style recently returned from mixing their singles “This Changes Everything” and “Every Now & Then” with Chris Stone (Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Jewel) at Sony-Tree Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The group and aforementioned singles are being featured on myxer.com, a music-based, community website with a user base of over eleven million users.
Dalton and Style are currently putting the finishing touches on their self-titled debut E.P.
