Bio

The Dakotas have evolved from being the back up band for Billy J. Kraemer and The Dakotas, popular British Invasion band with a string of hits, including collaborations with Lennon and McCartney. Now soloing as The Dakotas, the band plays solid gigs year round in Britain and around Europe, and also backs up many name performers from the era.
Eddie Mooney, lead vocalist and bass guitarist, joined the band in the '80's and has been with the band the longest. Eddie hails from a musical background and is proud of his Irish/English heritage. He's performed with names such as Wayne Fontana, Peter Noone, and many more and was an original member of The Glitter Band in the 1980's.
Eddie also hosts his own 60's & 70's radio show in the U.K.
Toni Baker joined the Dakotas in the early 90's after working with bands such as Freddie & The Dreamers, Wayne Fontana, Billy Ocean, and many more. He also works extensively in British television, as a session player. Toni produced the band's latest CD, "Evolution."
Pete Hilton, drummer, worked first at the original Liverpool "Cavern Club" with guitarist Robin Hill. Later he toured with diverse artists: Canned Heat, Deep Purple, Joe Cocker, and more.
Alan Clare is the newest member of the band. He has worked with Cliff Richard, The Supremes, Buddy Greco,
Dionne Warwick, and many more.
The band presents a high energy show that gets the
audience involved, singing along to many familiar tunes. Family friendly, the band appeals to much more than baby boomers; all ages and fans of many genres
