"The New Current"

Sometimes this job is too good. The music we get sent, can be at times a little of the same, nothing really noteworthy with the same generic sound that radio is full of. And then, out of the blue some bands emerge with an energy and style that blows you away. The Dandies are going to maker such an impact on the music/festival scene in the UK and further afield they are going to leave indents everywhere they go
- The New Current

"Fly FM"

'The Dandies are so infectious that you can't help but dance to their songs! reminiscent of the strokes but with more edge...more stuff like back the stereo please!'
- Jaye Harrison

Starting as a union between two American brothers and two Swiss friends, their blend of classic and modern rock is nothing short of infectious. While 2009 was a rough year, 2010 promises to be much better. With an album release to be announced and a slot at one of the biggest music festivals in America, the Dandies' future looks, well, pretty dandy.

"Sound & Vision Magazine"

Meat-and-potatoes rock & roll was dished out by the Dandies whose frontman, Adrian Weber, had the charisma and the magnetic voice of a young Steve Marriott. And as a band, these four scruffy kids had it all: hooks, chops, dynamics, you name it.
- Sound & Vision Magazine

"Reeperbahn Festival"

Cancel all your appointments for the weekend: The Dandies are coming to Hamburg – the rising stars of the Swiss Rock scene. Four twitchy young men from Luzern give their best, give more, give it everything they’ve got! These are unpolished, raw Indie Rock’n’Roll tunes! The Dandies are edgy, dancy and catchy. They’ve conquered Switzerland, played the SXSW and now they’re here to kick up the Reeperbahn Festival jams! Expect loud guitars, lots of feedback and hedonistic hymns! We need The Dandies! - Reeperbahn Festival

"20 Minuten"

"The Dandies, Lucernes young and wild ones" - 20 Minuten

"The Dandies from Hochdorf, Lucerne have proved their talent many times in Lucerne and have proved to have risen from the groups of underground bands. Kings of Leon, The Strokes and the omnipresent Beatles are their role models, and that's how they play. Indie flavoured with a lot of Rock'n'Roll and a pinch of punk. Right out of the garage, The Dandies are now on our stage." - Treibhaus

"Kulturregion Sursee"

"As terrific prelude to the party, The Dandies from Hochdorf will play at the Kulturwerk. Influenced by Kings of Leon, The Strokes and The Beatles these lads bring absolutely fresh Rock'n'Roll into the house" - Kulturregion Sursee

"Alterna Recording Studios"

"The Dandies like noise! So do we! Strummy-Rock with charm! The lads made a classic demo-pit-stop in January 2008 to gain first studio experiences. The whole shebang was recorded live and rough mixed after. The Alterna 2008 begins the way 2007 ended, with a whole lotta guitars!!!" - Philippe Laffer

"Jacquire King - Producer - Kings Of Leon, Modest Mouse"

"Your tunes sound good on myspace, i look forward to working with you in the future." - Jacquire King

Seductive firebrand rock n roll band, The Dandies were formed by talented brothers Adrian Weber (Vocals / Guitar) & Eric Weber (Lead Guitar) whose roots are in Baltimore, USA and Swiss friend Fabian Voirol (Drums). In 2010, the band was completed by Dimitri Schubiger (bass).

Gathering around a shared love of classic American rock n roll bands like the Kings of Leon, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Velvet Underground and The Strokes. They named themselves The Dandies; their love of music thrust them onto the stage with a burning ambition to create their own piece of history.

The Dandies take the best elements of indie, grunge and punk and combine them to pump out energetic garage rock anthems packed with big hooks and infectious choruses.

The Dandies had the privilege of playing festivals such as FIB Benicassim, SXSW, Exit, & Reeperbahn and supporting bands such as Meat Puppets, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Band Of Skulls, Sixteen Deluxe, The Horrors, & Children Collide.

The band are working on their debut album with Grammy-nominated producer Chris “Frenchie” Smith (JET, Meat Puppets, Lost Bayou Ramblers). The Dandies are poised to bring the swagger back to rock n roll.
