the Dantes are a new band with some experienced instrumentalists and a highly creative and charismatic frontman Rufus Dante III who comes from a musical theatre backround, is the outgoing,charismatic frontman that draws crowds into the performance and makes you believe every word.
The rhythm section of Noah and Omar Dante bring together years of live experience and dynamic stage performance.Omar is an experienced song writer/multi-instrumentalist that brings a musical drive and instinct to the his bass lines while Noah pounds out the beats that drive the Dantes with power and precision as well as tasteful percussion on more subtle songs.
Vin brings his experience from being in bands and creating arrangements for others to create songs that seem familiar yet new at the same time.
The Members of the Dantes have a collective experience as members of other groups and played in clubs,theatres,outdoor festivals and openinig for name bands such as Warrant,Tripping Daisy,Paul Rodgers,Nothing Face, Foreigner and more as well as industry interest from the likes of Walter Yetnikoff-CBS, Bob Franks-RCA, Red Ant Records,Hollywood Records and Island Records and worked directly with Shay Baby who has engineered and mixed and produced recordings for Whitesnake,Scorpions,Lou Graham,Warrant and Bruce Dickinson.
We are looking forward to a busy and creative 2007.
