Bio
The Dares were formed by twin brothers Ben Peterson (guitar and lead vocals) and Matt Peterson (drums and vocals) in Burlington, Vermont while still in elementary school. They played all around the area until moving to Whittier, California in December 2003. The Dares continued as a trio for 6 years until their bassist left the band in April of 2010. Brandon Shapiro, (bass and vocals) and Anthony Aguirre (guitar) joined The Dares in the summer of 2010 and in November of the same year, The Dares teamed
up with Grammy award winning producer, Paul Ebersold and recorded the album "Duped".
In 2015 The Dares released the EP "Nothing But A Start".
