The Dark Plains deliver powerful songs that simply should not be possible from a three-piece.
Balancing unrelenting grunge numbers with 'stuck in your head' riffs like 'Get Some' and 'Dirty She' with melodic and vocal led songs that will make the hairs on your neck stand up, 'Wise Fool' and 'I See You', this is a band that knows how to deliver an all-round show that keeps an audience on their toes, and leaves them wanting more every time.
The Dark Plains, formed by Andy, Diff and Ben, bring together influences from classic rock, grunge, blues and ska, and have created a catalogue of original songs that are punchy, unexpected and energetic.
The Dark Plains are unique in their region, delivering edgy and raw original rock music that is lacking in the local scene. The occasional unexpected cover quickly wins over any undecided crowd.
The Dark Plains are currently promoting the release of their first EP "Come On and Get Some", the title of which reflects the bands unending do-it-yourself attitude to achieving success in the industry. They intend to be the next big thing in rock to emerge from the SouthWest.
