Bio
The Dead And Living emerges from the deep forests of Sweden. Not solely to give meening to their own lives but also to relieve others. For roughly a year the band has haunted the world with their blend of punk, rock, goth and folk music in its darkest form. Their live performances is distinguished by theatrical darkness and endless creativity.
The Dead and Living consists of
Coroner - Vocals
Gravedigger - Bass
Janitor – Guitar, Vocals
Calavera - Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
Vincent – Drums
During their fairly breif existence the band has already released the singel ”Suck 'Em Dry” (May 2008) and completed a full length album (from which the songs on the attatched CD are taken from). A selection of genius produces like Whiplasher Bernadotte and Cat Casino from Deathstars and Peace Love And Pitbulls Peter Lööf has been recruited to give justice to the songs.
Since the forming in 2007 The Dead and Living has performed in sold out clubs in their hometown Karlstad where they've also received grand reviews from the local media. On May 12th 2008 one of these (Värmlands Folkblad) wrote:
”With a decadent, theatrical expression and a distinctive music consisting components of punk, folk and goth rock The Dead And Living performed their show ever. And what a debut! Tremendously rehearsed and well structured they attracted their curious spectators as effective as they chased the sun away. The Dead And Living, remember the name when you see it in a bigger context. ”
The Dead And Living sweeps across the world like a pitch black cloud with the vision of washing away peoples anxiety and acknowledge our place in a time where we are all as valuable as wortless
