Bio

Genre: Alternative Southern Rock

Bio:

Bred on the vast farmlands of the South, The Dead Rebels combine a three-guitar attack, loud, driving drums and a groove to conquer the concrete jungle to create a brand new paradigm worthy of being called alternative southern rock. Searing solos with heavy riffs conjure images of the illegitimate child of AC/DC and Lynard Skynard. Armed with these elements, they have already dominated the competitive L.A. club circuit catapulting them to the top tier of performers on Music Connection Magazine’s “Hot 100 list for unsigned artists for 2005.”

The Dead Rebels recently completed their debut self-titled album recorded at the legendary Cherokee Studios and produced by The Robb Brothers (The Lemonheads, Buffalo Tom). Before their fans could even purchase the new CD, their album was featured on KLOS 95.5’s Local Licks show, LA’s foremost Classic Rock station. The new album continues to gather momentum as their radio support grows all over the country and abroad.

Head rebel Lance Palmer brings his unique outlook from his upbringing in rural America as he followed the big lights into the city. After cutting his teeth as a performer with a slew of other musicians all across America, a vision of what would later become The Dead Rebels materialized.

The Rebels continue to stun onlookers with their phenomenal live shows. As a result, their songs were picked up for placement in a variety of network and cable shows like FX’s “The Shield,” for its upcoming season and also in MTV/VH1’s fall lineup. Now, to bring music back to truth and justice ‘the Dead Rebel way,’ they have signed with Quarter2Three, an independent record label born out of the renowned Cherokee Studios in Hollywood.
