With many popular Austin musical projects under their belts, frontman Quin Galavis and guitarist Garrett Hadden began The Dead Space in hopes to channel the no wave and post punk styles of the eighties into a more modern alternative, including massive melodies and dark undertones. With influences from New Order and Bauhaus to Smashing Pumpkins, bassist Jasmine Mayberry (ex- Signal Lost) and hard hitting drummer Jenny Arthur unite The Dead Space to create a melodic, aggressive, and above all unique sound. All of this combined with a powerful live performance allows a musical experience that is relatable to every type of listener, and a sound that proves the technical talent of each member. The Dead Space is always transcending boundaries in the industry and of their own.
