The Dead Vice plays melodic energetic rock best suited after dark. Blessed with a deaf neighbor they can allow themselves to devote themselves to music at all hours
The trio was established in the beginning of 2008, consisting of Kristian Skaarbrevik from the west coast city, Aalesund, and the sisters Hanne Marie and Frida Elén Jalborg from the city Askim in Eastern Norway.
Dark guitar riffs, mystic and associative lyrics with devotion to melody characterizes their music. Female vocals are swept into atmospheres with rough edges alongside with rhythmic clarity on the surface. The Dead Vice´s music incorporates their physical and technological surroundings of today into their music and production, manifesting their view from Oslo on the sound of 2010 and beyond with their music.
The goal for 2010 is to play in concerts and festivals abroad and to release and promote their album, now in production. They also want to connect and get to work with people who love listening and working with music that moves them.
Their musical influences are Fever Ray, My Bloody Valentine, The Kills, TV on the Radio, and Serena Maneesh.
