The Decorations are a band formed out of fun and a mutual appreciation of what in the late '90s was called "indiepop" and I don't know what it's called now. The band grew quickly from a 3-piece into a 7-piece monster band which is INCREDIBLE at writing about itself in order to apply for Athens Popfest.
Listeners have described The Decorations as performing with the audacious ferocity of a tyrannosaurus rex made of cassette tapes.
Currently, wonderful and charismatic frontman Ian Rickert is living in his hometown of Syracuse, NY, while the rest of the band languishes in obscurity in Athens, GA.
