"'I'm Turning In The Wholeness' video premiere on THUMP"

Iuliano's musical perspective is singular in its quirks, almost as if he is actually the result of some glitch in space and time that sent him from both the future and the past simultaneously. - THUMP

"'SPLIT CONSCIOUSNESS' album premiere on Noisey Italia"

"The Delay In The Universal Loop is the music project of Dylan Iuliano, a 20-year-old guy from Campania that is destroying everything around the universe. This time we are facing a solid work, built around a personal aesthetic fearless of showing itself in every corner, and this effrontery rewards because the result is masterly." - NOISEY

"'Texan Daylight' videoclip on CMJ"

Maybe it’d be easier for you to just say Dylan Iuliano. He’s the Italain producer who goes by the epic moniker of The Delay In The Universal Loop, and he’s just offered up a spastic new video for “Texan Daylight,” a track taken from his second album, Split Consciousness, that will be out in June on Moon Sounds Records.
“Texan Daylight” is all blown-out synth scrapes next to his more delicate, wooing vocals that then get high-pitched and jittery until suddenly the song devolves from irk-dance to minimal, analog synth rip-apart. The video offers similar analog frights, with old VHS clips of smiling, dancing people spliced into screen-snow oblivion. It was directed by Logan Owlbeemoth using a Tachyons+ Rainbowtronic machine, whatever that is.

All of which doesn’t seem to jibe with Iuliano’s explanation that the song’s inspiration came from a nice trip to the States and some good Mexican food. So we asked him to explain. Check his explanation, the video and tour dates below. - CMJ

"'I'M TURNING IN THE WHOLENESS' on Noisey Italia"

Split Consciousness is already making headlines, because it's cool or because it is distorted and absurd, or because Dylan tries hard to displace the listener and drag him into its sonic and sensorial vortex, like the white rabbit with the poor Alice . - Noisey

""Disarmonia" review on MXDWN"

"Disarmonia, is trippy, fun and shockingly mature, all at the same time. Is there something in Italy’s water? The Delay in the Universal Loop exudes such a scary amount of talent and potential that it’s hard to imagine what kind of damage he can make once he’s experienced the woes and wonders of being a 20-something." - MXDWN

"The Delay In The Universal Loop on NH7 (India)"

"Disarmonia is another genre-defying release from Luliano , dipping its toes equally in abstract psychedelia, noise, electronica, new wave, dance and alternative rock, but the album never slots into any one team, instead allowing for Iuliano to keep experimenting with sounds, melodies and noises to further develop and strengthen his musical palette. That it rarely loses its organic, human touch on even its most synthetic-sounding songs is another of Disarmonia‘s strengths and something I suppose Luliano consciously aimed to create while recording of the album. What we have here in totality is an addictive blend of psychedelic warble, experimental electronic sounds, warm analogue instrumentation, moving vocals, and a very unique approach to songwriting. This is audial gold if you want it." - NH7

So, this 18 year old guy drops a crazy electronica mix that sounds pretty awesome. - Free Press Houston

""Disarmonia" review on ROCKIT (Italy)"

- ROCKIT
