the delivery boys

In the spring of 2006 The Delivery Boys formed when high school friends Ryan Bennett and Paul Holloway decided to start a band. By winter time they had written and recorded a self-titled EP titled “We’re Packing” which gained popularity around their high schools and surrounding areas. During that winter The Delivery Boys were playing shows and building a fan base when they were put at a standstill due to their former drummer quitting to pursue school. Paul and Ryan started to drift until the spring of 2007 when they met Matt Dailly. “He was the glue we needed” jokes Paul and Ryan. By the summer of 2007 The Delivery Boys were on their first tour and made it all the way as far as Texas and Florida, while playing with some bands such as: Pierce the Veil, Dance Gavin Dance, and Kenosha. In the fall of ’07 The Delivery Boys met Nick Scalise who ended up producing and recording their second EP “Starry Skies and Fire Flies.” In 08 The Delivery Boys were playing some out of state shows as well as gaining popularity in Chicago. After a considerable amount of bassists dropping out, The Delivery Boys were finalized when Eric Olsen joined the group in the springtime of '09. Since then The Delivery Boys have been playing shows almost every weekend and writing tons of new material.
