Bio
The Denver J Band, an acoustic jam rock band, founded in 2013 by Singer/Songwriter Denver Saunders and Percussionist Matt Remenar, they were joined by Bassist/Vocalist Grayson Roberts and electric Guitarists DARE and John Marques.
The Denver J Band was formed around Saunders’ songwriting and has since taken on a life of it’s own defined by compelling mixture of subtle stylistic leanings that include blues rock, pop, and reggae. According to SN&R, the songs are “raw, honest and chilling,” and their fans agree.
This band is the archetype of a working band, always focused on their performances and consistently providing a great show. Within just under a year, The Denver J Band has performed 35 shows at 18 venues in the Sacramento area as well as Lake Tahoe. They can be found gigging a few times a month at various venues with no
signs of slowing.
Currently releasing their first EP, “A Real Good Book”, the band is working to expand their fan base and exposure through radio, marketing, and live shows. Additionally, The Denver J Band is preparing for a full-length album always keeping in mind the bands mantra, “Making music so that others may love.”
